The oil pattern has been changed recently. The dry outsides have gone and the oil is heavier, although the backends are still dry.
The other day my Rampage wasn't quite getting back to the pocket, I had a number of light hits. Now I'm gonna spend some time working out adjustments to get me back to the pocket, but what would be a decent ball option to give me a similar look to the Rampage but with a little more strength?
I'd probably look at a used ball to keep the cost down, so it doesn't matter necessarily if it's from the current line.
Any opinions would be appreciated, although it's quite likely that I'll just stick with the Rampage.
Thanks

If you can find a used original Inferno at a decent price, I think that would be a good choice. From the current line, a polished Vapor Zone would probably give you the look that you seek.

Hey I have a Rampage. Great bench mark ball for me but if it is not quite getting there I use the absolute. It doesn't turn as hard on the back but starts sooner and handles the thicker oil better for me. Just my opinion.

For the same weight block, I'd look at either the Ambush or the Nemesis. Any of the Infernos will be stronger with the Smokin' being closest to the Rampage, so I would get the original or an Absolute. The Classic Zone and Vapor Zone are excellent as well. You have may options.
