Has anyone used a polished revolver vs a Loaded Revolver and what was the result.

The Revolver with polish is still earlier and more smooth. The cover on the Revolver is stronger and will handle more volume.

Thanks Lane for the response. Getting ready for Nationals and had thrown my Revoler (pin under ring) this weekend at a State Tournament and really liked the reaction in box condition. Used some other equipment but could not get the same reaction that I was getting with the Revolver. I had a Loaded Revolver but it just did not react well for me, I thought about getting either a polished Revolver or a Wicked Siege for my S/D ball at Nationals, also had thought about a Alpha Maxx but felt it might be to strong for my rev rate and ball speed which is 350 at 15 ball speed.

It's hard to say which would match up better. There seems to be more hook at Nationals this year so far so my thoughts are to stay away from anything super shiny or super dull. The shiny may jump too hard late and anything too dull may have problems with carry.

I am taking my Revolver that has some polish on it with me. So far it has handled oily conditions quite well. Best of luck.
