Survey...From the CURRENT line of Brunswick balls...
« on: February 23, 2005, 04:25:10 AM »
Which would you recommend as the best overall ball for the average, medium oil, THS?

By "best overall ball", I mean a ball that, with the correct drilling, could be used by either stroker, tweener, or cranker, can handle fresh oil as well as some carry down and will do OK once the heads start to go.

Just want to hear some opinions from the Brunswick Nation...

Absolute, Original, Raging, Ultimate, Intense, Blazing. From the order of giving the most forgiveness to the least.

Well, right now the bruiser is still technically in the line up, so I would say the Bruiser is the best.

I forgot about the Bruiser, Classic, Time, and Impulse. Out of all of them, the two I'd pick are Absolute and Impulse.

Bruiser!  That thing rocks.  And any kind of bowler can use it.

Does anyone recall VT's original question?

My paraphrase:
"Which ONE ball can all 3 types of bowlers use (I assume, properly) on a MEDIUM oli pattern?"

While I believe there is no correct answer to this, my best estimate is the Bruiser.

Absolute if there is a touch of carrydown.  Original if the backends are flying.
