They arrived Monday, both look great. Don't know when I'll be able to shoot video, have a regional this weekend and blah blah blah.
I'll post actual pics Tuesday if someone wants to see. The Copperhead shined up is actually pretty gnarly lookin! I dig it.
Swarm looks a little like the Chrome/Yellow Power Groove, but with a lot less Yellow and a lot more black pearl.

Nick,
The pictures I've seen remind me of the helix quantum of years passed. How close are the colors to this.
-
The Swarm looks really good in person. I might have to drill one up!
-
Mine are here, too. I think I might have to drill them today...
I've got a summer league tonight with lots of oil, so I'll try the Copperhead out of the box.

In case you haven't realized this yet... few users here are ever that satisfied with the stock images for new releases.
At least companies have been doing a better job getting the computer generated images more realistic. Either that or they're getting better at pouring balls to match the artist's rendering.

Sorry for the camera phone pics, forgot my camera at home. Copperhead is menacing! Going to punch them up today sometime.

I'm really looking forward to the Swarm, I think I'll pick one up.
-
The engravings look really huge - new machines in Mexico?
The C-head looks wacky, especially with the glossy surface. Surely a ball that is not easily overlooked in the ball rack!

Shot 900 or so for 4 games tonight in league, impressive rolling ball. I sent an unusual amount of half pocket messengers across the deck. Went with a 5"+/- layout over the fingers with a hole. Thinking about RICO'ing the Swarm, but I'll let the ball talk to me when I'm doin work on it.
After tonight, I do plan to take this ball with me to the regional.

My Copperhead rolls and hooks nicely. I went roughly 4x4 under the fingers for mine. Only have about 1 1/2 games on it so I need to try it more.
We change lanes every game on Tuesday summer league and I followed a guy throwing polyester for strikes AND spares (he had 2 of them) in addition to the other polyeasters being thrown at the same time, so the carry down got ugly real quick. I opted for my Fury with Snake Oil so I could move way right and go down and in.
I will throw the Swarm later this week, but they both are creating some interest already.

Yo Nick.. Just wondering..
Why'd you polish the Copperhead before throwing it?
I mean i never change the surface before i throw it, if it's a NEW ball.. I even tossed my Mammoth Box before changing the surface, eventhough i kinda "knew" i wouldn't have much use for it in Box..
I would change the surface if i had a similar ball, but was looking for a different reaction, as in your case before punching holes in it of course..
Like i said.. Just wondering..
