Swarm vs. Black Widow Pearl?
« on: September 13, 2008, 03:01:31 PM »

Just wondering if anyone had the opportunity to compare these two balls.... wondering how they compare in terms of length, back end, and skid-snap... thx!

I have not thrown the BWP, but based upon seeing many of them roll and how my Swarm reacts... pretty close in my opinion. Both need some friction to make a turn, and both are quite angular.

Bw is earlier and more of a hard arc, the swarm for me is stright through the fronts and then turns hard the last 10 feet or so.

Pin to pap is the same at 4 1/2 above the ring which is large drilling angle probably 75-80 degress for me and the mb on the pearl is at 75 degrees just right and below the thumb.

The black widow pearl is one of the most aggressive backend ball on the market it has the tendency to roll a little earlier although the Swarm can be angular it is not near the BWP's backend drive as the swarm rolls a little later.
