Tell me what you know about the brunswick imperial (1977)
« on: October 15, 2011, 11:46:44 AM »
 Long story short:
I get a phone call at the shop that this guy wants to give me a ball. He drops it off... The ball Is still in the original box which has 4 stamps and post marked sept. 9th 1977. Back then the old school Brunswick ball boxes had a handle and that was how you carried it. So I open the box and it's a bronze pearl Brunswick Imperial (undrilled).  The ball weighs 14lbs.
What I would like to know..
1. What's it worth?
2. Any details about the ball?
. I believe it's plastic but does it have the hardness of an original blue dot?
Any info would be great

The ball is for sale if you would to make offers.

Very neat.

The only help I can give in reference to price is that it isn't worth much to the majority of people out there. If anyone offered you something for it along the price of todays plastic bowling balls I would consider it. Or if you have the space I think it is more valuable to have as a display with the box somewhere. It was free, so that to me would be more then worth while for keeping it as a piece of history.
