Zone Classic Pin Color
« on: May 18, 2005, 12:09:10 PM »
I was looking at my ZC, which has a black pin.  With all this talk about red and purple, red being the different cover and purple being "normal", what does the black pin mean??

Are you sure it's black???

I'm 99% sure.  I have pics but they don't show the pin very well.

quote:
To explain the pin situation...

The original color of the Classics were red. When it was realized that the coverstock was not correct, then the color was changed to dark green. As the pin cures, it has a tendency to darken and appear black. Either way, the green, dark green or black are the 'correct' color and the red are the 'blems' or 2nd's.

Hope this clears it up for you Andrew.
