The Evil Siege
« on: May 20, 2010, 10:19:39 AM »
So i just punched up my first new Brunswick ball ever, drilled it 55x4-1/4x40 left it in box condition.

In comparison to my Mission at the same surface the Evil was 5-6 boards weaker at the arrows when using the same breakpoint, similar reaction to the friction but on a quite weaker scale like I expected.

The ball rolls good and really was giving me a good look yesterday in practice, i'm going to use it some more tonight and i'll update some more on it but I can say I definitely like the ball motion that i've seen so far.

I recommend lightly taking the ball down with 1000 Ablaron.  The ball is a monster even compared to the two Missions I have.  Hits like a truck.

I loved this ball with a little polish. Got a great pearl reaction. Easily 6+ boards stronger off the breakpoint then the OOB. OOB was very smooth and predictable, but the shine made this ball a true beast.

Are you saying that you had to move right 5-6 boards with the Evil Seige when compared to the Mission?

That is indeed correct analysis from the first time out on a house shot that tends to hook a bit on wood lanes.

After tonight bowling on a house shot on synthetics I stand by my statement that it is weaker, though on a heavier condition the difference was 3 boards at the arrows to the same breakpoint for me and it widened a bit when the shot opened up.

The two compliment each other well from the games I've put on them and I will definitely report back as to how things work out in my Kegel pattern summer league.
