The next ball
« on: September 15, 2005, 09:31:59 PM »
I read in another thread that the next BVP release, in oct/nov is going to be an attempt to bring a classic ball back.  Then after BrunsNick revealed this info, another person, DP3 said its gonna be dangerous.  I like their current stuff and no matta what comes out I'm likely to buy, but is this for real, a danger zone.

But it will surely not be a solid PK18 ball, which would not make sense. Maybe there is a revival of the HPD with a light load particle coverstock and the BVP core? But that's speculation. We will see, and then decide if it is a sensible ball assortment addition, eh?

Brunswick does not have ANY solid particle balls in their lineup other than the PG and hasn't for a while, so this would be a welcome addition....

Looking at the current line, my *guess* would be that the next BVP will be something that will have the aggressive move, but usual smooth handling, that we've come to expect from the stronger Big B offerings.  IMO this would make a good fit between the Goliath and the Nemesis.  Whether this would be done with a lower-load particle or a stronger reactive, though, would be anyone's guess at this point.
