I think all the balls in the avalanche series carried the old rhino core.

Compared to the Teal Rhino Pro the Rhino Pro X and the Avalanches both have an inverted core.

I believe the date is July 6th! I received all four of the new releases last week in my shop and I remember seeing that date!

It is one sharp looking ball in person. My proshop got 3 of the 4 new balls. I snagged up the Wild Thing.

July 6th is the release date.  This avalanche uses the same core/cover combo as the Danger Zone, with some slight modern tweaks of course.

Slight modern tweaks?!?

The Danger Zone core was a slightly lower RG core with almost twice the differential of the core being used in the Avalanche series.

For the most part, the Danger Zone was also a solid PK18.

The closest core to the Avalanche was found in the Teal Rhino Pro.

I'm sorry, it is the Teal Rhino Pro lightbulb core with a Danger Zone modification.  It is meant to give characteristics of both.  Says right on the site and what we were told out at Bowl Expo.
