Brunswick Teal Rhino?

Have a friend that recently busted out a Teal Rhino from his garage, and saw him throw it today. Ball looks great for drier lanes... he shot 768 against me with it. My dad has one and I was thinking about getting it plugged and trying it out. Not sure on the pin to PAP distance, but how strong would this ball be on today's lane conditions? Would it be a good ball for drier lanes? I'm a stroker, 275-300 RPM, 15 MPH ball speed.

The Teal Rhino is definitely a dryer lane ball. However if it's the "Teal Rhino Pro" he has, That will work great on todays medium shot...especially for an down & in stroker.

My Teal is more of a light-medium shot ball. I have an Orbit and Orbit Extreme that hook a little less than it does. Now my X-calibur at 2000 and polish with a smooth axis type of drill is very good at dry (not burnt, needs some head oil)shot. It doesn't even think about reacting if there is any oil and then a nice smooth move on the back. Used it on a dry Viper shot the other day and it was really good playing up 5.

I recently picked up two Teal Rhino Pros.  Punched up one for me and gave the other to a buddy.  I love this ball. It reminds me of urethane because it's smooth and doesn't hook a lot. But it's reactive so it carries better.  I have mine at 1000 grit polished and the ball works on medium to heavy.

sad299 you are spot on about the Teal Rhino Pro being a good medium condition ball for the down and in shot- I''ve got one and It''s been my main ball this season!!!

Doggie, it really is a great ball. If it wasn't in such terrific shape, I'd use it more...it's one of my collector pieces. I actually have the Lane#1 Pink Panther & Retro THS, both these pieces roll like modern day RHINO'S......in my opinion.
