looks a lot like the type of roll that you get with the Mammoth.
I look at that and think to myself why pay high dollar for the Fury when I can get the Mammoth, just my take though.

Resin vs Particle...
I plan on comparing those two, but I can tell you that the Mammoth labors more on the backend. When the lanes are fresh, the balls will be pretty close. It's when you see the oil move down the lane that you'll see the differences in reaction.
And yes, bow to the mighty Mo-Pin!

I think this ball could use a stronger layout, but with a higher pin position. Before the X-hole, the flare rings were fairly tight, so the flare-increasing was used to get a little earlier read and hook.
No idea on the statics before, but I just weighed the ball now and it has 5/8oz negative side, 1/8oz finger.
Our THS is about 39 feet.
Haven't tested the Total Inferno heads up yet, will have a better idea in the next week or so.

They aren't all like this, the other Fury I have is normal. I assume they need to make them oversized occasionally when pin doesn't cure well with the cover. This is the biggest pin I've seen, I thought it was pretty sweet! First reactiong was like Bill & Ted's -- "Whoooa!"

Nah, Scorchin had quite a few games on it, so I retired it. I have been tweaking the grip quite a bit the last couple of months, so my arsenal has changed a bit. Some new, some others gone.

Nick,
So how do you feel this ball fits in the family? Difference in roll shape than the other high end stuff? Also what type of usage are you looking to get from it? (difference in charcteristics like length, where the roll picks up?) Vids are always great, but marbles look great when the chucker knows what they are doing!!
-
It rolls similar to the Mammoth for me, but it seems the flares open up moreso downlane if that makes sense. I'm curious to see if pin height will affect the orientation of the core to open up the flares early. Time will tell, the next layout will most likely be a 4 1/2" up and tune from there.

Moreso referring to how the core stays on top of itself down the lane, not so much as the hook potential or breakpoint.

You know what came to mind seeing that balls reaction? Angular One! Im debating about this ball, Id like to replace my Scorchin Inferno but at the same time the Scorchin I have is still doing the job in heavy oil! The Fury will definately be something to replace it though, might get one and put it in storage for when the Scorchin does finally puke.
Once again Nick, another AWESOME video!! Love the beginning as that is what I expected you to use, LOL. Had me laughing pretty good.

Nice vid Nick. My opinion on the ball, it looked way to strong to be throwing on that pattern, especially at 1000 grit, gave a similar look to the Nick's red zone video. On a longer pattern it would roll even better imo by the looks of it, but great look either way.

Move left, hook it more.....

Hey Nick,
Great job on the Video!! I especially liked the music!!
If you drill another one try the pin above. You will see a big difference in length and backend
Rock on

Chunk, some equipment is possible to do that, but our lanes are pretty dry. Check out the Total Inferno video, I moved around quite a bit.

Yep, last night... Kind of caught a bad pair with bad racks. 840 for 4 games, switched to the Red Zone in Game 3, still same results. Left pretty much every single pin possible cept for the 5 pin.
