Problems with my punisher

I have been having problems with my punisher. The high gloss on this ball is too much. Too much over under on wet -dry condition. Would using brunswick rough buff be the option ? I only had one good game out of this ball and it have been in my closet for a few months. I only played a total of 5 games with this ball.I have the pin next to the ring finger. Iam right handed.Should I take the ball back to my driller and have some of the gloss taken off ?
Thank's for your help in advance.

abslutely, take it your proshop driller and have him sand it down to maybe 4000, 2000, etc. and see if it feels right for YOU!

If you have tried differnt liens with it and it did not work properly, changing the surface is the best and easiest way to look for improvement since surface prep determines ball reaction by about 70%. I'd also try a high grit sanding first and check the results. Knocking off the polish will surely make ball reaction more even. If it is still too squirly, go to a lower grit (maybe 1.000). A compound finish could be the final step, when you haven't found what you have been looking for so far, but I am sure that a 2.000 or 4.000 grit Abralon surface will change ball recation very much into your desired direction.
