Thumb pitches
« on: June 22, 2006, 03:58:44 AM »
I have been having a problem with tendinitis in my hand and have found
myself squeezing the ball to maintain control.  Does anyone know if
using some foward pitch in the thumb would ease the urge to squeeze the
ball ?
Thanks in advance.

i am have an issue with tendinitis at the base of my thumb, i can actually move the tendon from side to side. Sometimes when i come out of the ball i get a intence pain up my thumb......i've had 2 cordozone shots into my thumb , which is only temp. relief.....my dr has refered me to a plastic surgen so i will see whats up soon..................but she had told me to stop bowling, i told to her she's crazzy......so i am thinking of getting at least one of my balls checked out an possible redrilled with new pitch/span.

PEACE
