problem with the inferno for righties
« on: April 23, 2005, 12:24:43 AM »
well i am a lefty and have an inferno, i love the way the ball rolls and hits but my friend, who is a righty has a problem with his. everytime he throws it it sounds as if it is rolling over a hole or fingers or thumb, but when we look at the ball there is nothing. he isnt the only righty to have this problem, two other out of town bowlers that i do tend to bowl with at tournaments have the same problem with their inferno. i know three other lefties and they do not have this problem...what could it be

If the ball was drilled for somebody with a low track or with a different flare "bowtie" placement, then if a high track player throws it, it will thump over holes fairly often.

That's why the drill sheets even specify that certain drills aren't for people with high tracks.
