let me correct myself. i know they are not the same. but i think were getting a zone at the end of our league and stumped at which one to get. can anyone tell me the major differences between the two, besides the specs, and tell me which one they like best?

furthermore, the lane condition does not matter to me, you can just tell me which one you like best, thats it

I have a Time Zone and a Classic Zone drilled almost identically.

In box condition, the Classic Zone will handle heavier oil. It's not a HEAVY oil ball, but it can handle up into the medium-heavy range.
The Time Zone gives me the same look, but on slightly less oil volume.
Both balls are very angular in look, with EXCELLENT hit and carry.
The Classic Zone is more apt to "stand up" right before hitting. The Time Zone seems to want to keep going - making it a bit more susceptible to 4 pins and 4-9 leaves. Keep it flush or lighter and everything is going down.
I have thrown the Time Zone dulled to 600, and with that finish it approaches the Classic Zone in oil handling ability. I don't have a lot of play on either of these two balls - they're in my tournament arsenal but not my everyday league bag.
