SlayR vs Red/Black

Can anybody compare the two? Do these balls have the same characteristics, or is the SlayR stronger?

i owned the red/black reactive monster and now throw the monster slayr. the monster slayr gets much more length and has a less aggressive move down the lane. the monster slayr is a great drier lane ball.

Red/Black is earlier, more hook and more backend; more for  medium-light to medium oil patterns.

SlayR is for dry to medium-light, with much more length, much less backend and much less overall hook.

Two VERY different balls for very different lane conditions.

I don't believe any drilling or surface preparation could make these balls similar in reaction.

I have a Slay/R, Red/Black, and a recently drilled Power Groove. Not much play with the Slay/R yet, but I sure like the Red/Black for Medium/Light & light patterns - especially a house shot that's breaking down. As long as there's a tiny bit of head head oil that can be chased to the left, it keeps you in play. With my limited play on the Slay/R, I don't think it has the back end to get in real deep. Time will tell. I'm probably going to drill up another Slay/R with a pin under bridge type layout and use it as a "Track Jammer" and 'Twig' ball, and keep the Red/Black & Power Groove for shots that require a deep alignment or lots of swing. The Red/Black and Chrome/Yellow Power Groove has a much higher RG than either the M-R/B or the Slay/R, and it gets down the lane pretty easy and smooth.

Randy,
 I see what you are saying about the Red/Black. Mine is best played on a deeper line. I just had the SlayR plugged and redrilled (SOMEBODY left this ball on the rack where I bowl at: must've not like it). The pin is above the ring finger, and the cg is a little to the right. I can play this ball in the track (no deeper than 15), and it has serious length and a strong snap in the backend. I will definitely play this ball when the lanes dry up, and still be able to play outside to 15. Damn, I just wrote my first review
