Cool. High school bowling around here doesn't exist in any competitive form, but I hope you have a good time and win.

thanks Andy!
I Honestly think this year is the year for us to win it all. . .we are losing 5 seniors, 3 of which are on the "A" Team(higher average team) and all 3 of them are in the top 5 in average on the team. . .
Currently AS A TEAM(10 players) we are averageing 203.41, with a High average of 232 and a low of 179 or so. Currently, im averaging 216, a new high ave for me.
CONGRATS TO CHRISTIAN L!!! SHOT 268, 269 FOR A 537 (2)GAME SERIES, A NEW SCHOOL RECORD!!! WAY TO GO!!!
Thanks,
Chrispy

This is the page to the statistics of teams around Illinois. Just so you know, my name is Nick Harris on the Collinsville team. The season has been pretty good for the team so far. After tonight, we are 3-1, and are doing ok. They update it periodically, so some stats arent on it until a couple days after the match. Any comments would be cool.
P.S. After tuesday night I went from a 208 average down to a 203, but after tonight I have gone from that up to a 209. So this year is going pretty good for me.

Wow, thanks for piping in here guys.
If anyone else out there is on an HS team and has started match play, jump in!
Thanks,
Chrispy

Well I am a biased party but I am in favor of Edwardsville to take state this year. It is going to be tough without an experienced bowling coach but I think they can do it if they manage to stay focused and work together. They are an excellent team and if one of those guys steps up and stands out of that group they will be serious contenders.
It is a very competitive conference and the guys from Collinsville should put up a good fight as well as many of those northerners in the Chicago area.
Vurapure thanks for putting up that link to the standings.

DAMN STRAIGHT, WE (Trinity) are goin to win state! I was the one with the 232 avg. before a horrible day today (376 2-game series).

are first high school match started on wednesday we won all three games including total pins. this is the first year are team is in are conference which allows us to goto states for 9 matches per year over the last 4 years are varsity team has gone 141-3... not bad if u ask me. we have 4 returning players who all averaged over 220 last year. we have an amazing chance at winning states so we'll see what happens.. and oh ya i goto Hazleton Area in Pennsylvania..

Nice to see you post Vagabond. Yes Edwardsville is a great team, and I have friends on that team also. It will be a heated competition between us and them in our matches and in state and we will take them just as serious as the rest of the teams in the conference.

I don't believe that Edwardsville has that strong of a team this year, and I think their coaching situation isn't the best either, but I have been wrong in the past. I bowl with Collinsville's Coach on Friday Nights, and I believe, listening to him and seeing them bowl, that they have a very good team this year. Also, you can never count out the Chicagoland teams, like Harlem, Freeport, Morgan and Machesney Park, and the rest. I look for East Alton Wood River to make state for the first time since 2000, when we were 3rd in state. Again, these are just my views. Good luck to you and your team Vurapure.

I'm Tyler Timmins, and my little brother is Jake Timmins, bowls for Wood River. I bowl with Sean H. on Friday nights.
