Post by: thundercat23 on November 06, 2006, 02:03:25 AM
The Total Inferno is up in Brunswick's ball page, however, the video takes out to their home page.

Weird...I ran the video in Netscape and got a bunch of giberish, but in Internet Explorer it was fine...ball looks good.

I'm still trying to get used to the "Absolute on steroids" comment.  My AI is a pretty strong moving ball as it is.  To see a more pronouced move to the hole would be amazing!

The ball looks impressive.  I just wish that I had a house in the area that put down enough oil to allow me to throw it...  instead of the total inferno, I need the "single inferno" for lane conditions around here!

Nice video with the comparisons to other Infernos.  Wish they would include how the balls are laid out as well.  The Total looks real good.

WOW, that is my next purchase for heavy oil!  I know it may not be a "true" heavy oiler to you guys, but with that ball at 800 grit, I see my vapor zone on a heavy shot, DROOOLING big time.  That will be worth buying IMO.  I wish there was another Zone out that would match it, but I'll go with that.  That ball just looks sweet.  Its what I hoped the Mammoth would be, great reaction with out too much arc, too much flip, or particle.   I would love to see it in action side by side with a similarly drilled VZ, Nick help me out here.

Impressive!  I like the ball comparisons made.  Definitely see the differences in reaction as all the other Inferno's present, according to the video, arc -> strong arc motion yet this ball definitely shows more 'bolas' from the mids on.  I may have to add yet another Inferno to my collection

are you guys paid by brunswick???
the ball is not even out yet,  and it certainly is no heavy oil monster<<<
i think some are reading way too much into this>>>>

to me this ball will do the following>>>
it will clear the heads better then the scorchin,  read the mid lane well, and have more pop on the backend then the scorchin and absolute<<<

but i don't think it will walk on water<<<<

I agree with your analysis.  It looks like a good ball.  Not sure if it's for a soaked lane but it's not made for one either.

For those of us who love the Vapor Zone and Absolute Inferno, this is definitely the next ball to buy.

I bought a Vapor Zone a couple months ago and I'm smokin' with it so I'm in no hurry for a new ball.  It could use a refinishing, however.  But I will definitely be picking one of these up in due time.

Its that extra pop that's exciting.  Especially from Brunswick as they haven't had the most snappy balls historically.  I'm a fan of backend and this one looks to be full of it!

Billy O threw it on a sport shot today and it was only 2 boards stronger than the Absolute.  He said the lanes were pretty tight, so I'll wait to pass judgement.

I watched a Brunswick Am staffer throw his today, 27 in a row with his right out of the box. Said it's the best B ball he's ever seen or thrown. He was playing all over the lane and when he stopped striking is when he jumped way in and played 7th arrow. He threw a couple where the headpin came off the boards harder then Tommy Jones has ever done on TV.

Then I watch the proshop owner that puts the holes in my equipment for me throw the second one and he was throwing pins like he's never done in his life. It didn't matter what he did, he just was ripping racks apart.

I'm still debating about drilling one as I REALLY HATED the AI.
