Total Inferno ?
« on: October 12, 2006, 03:27:00 PM »
Is the Total Inferno going to take the place of the Absolute in Brunswick's lineup?  According the spec sheet it says it an Absolute on steriods.  To me this sounds like a replacement.  How much longer do you see the absolute being out?

As of February of 07, the AI will have been out for 2 years. Going off of the past, the ball should stay with the 06-07 catalog and be phased out  this coming year.

That is kind of the pattern we follow, but nothing is ever set in stone until decision time comes. That ball is so good I would like to see it stay past that. But, if you come out with another ball as good if not better, then you don't need both.

Only time will tell.

The only reason why I was asking is cause this ball is "money" for me I would like to pick up another one up before it goes.

Thanks

You have plenty of time, but yep, I plan on saving one for myself also. The Absolute is definitely "Absolute Money". Everyone should get to experience the awesomeness of it. I know Duke and Monacelli both left ball companies and won titles back to back weeks with an Absolute. I think Duke was quoted saying something like "that was like stealing". Pretty much says it all.
