When I first got it, it didn't hook near as much as I thought it would, but that was ok, I can usually find a spot for a ball. It's just that everything else I had did whatever that ball would do, but better. It's one of the heaviest rolling balls I've ever seen, but it starts to rev up like it's gonna turn, and then it's just too soft and lazy on the backend. It was one of those balls that I've always had a love/hate relationship with, but one ball that I've always had a feeling about.
I thought about switching to Storm, plus I tried an Ebonite too, and it really didn't pan out, so I got my Red Zone back out and put my Radical in the bag too. Since I readjusted my fit, those were the only two Brunswicks I had that fit right. Well, my Red Zone has been getting kinda weak, but just because it was all I ever used and was getting kinda soaked. This week until I had the time to bleed my Red Zone, I've been forced to use my Radical. And what do you know, hello . . For some reason, it's been an absolute beast. Shots that my Red Zone will hardly wrinkle on, the Radical has been going nuts, especially on wood lanes. I don't know why it's hooking now, but I'm having trouble adjusting to it, because I still don't trust it. I'm still waiting for it to blow right through the breakpoint, and it's not, it's revving and turning over hard. I haven't done anything to the surface either . . it's just amazing.
