« on: May 01, 2008, 05:28:30 AM »

What has been everyones experience with the twisted at either 2000 or 4000?  What about 2000  polished?

4000 is OOB. As far as I understand...

2000 abralon allowed the ball to read a little earlier but still good finish;
4000 abralon reaction is close to the box reaction;
2000 plus polish will go longer than box finish in all probability.

If you like polish most of us are going between 320 - 400 before adding the polish.

OOB is 600 rough buff.  I have not messed with the surface on mine because I love the OOB.  I usally wait until I gwet another ball befoer messing with surfaces.

I've resurfaced mine to 4000.  You can't tell the difference from box.

For me 2000 was lengthier than box finish. In fact I like it at that finish.

Ditto for me....I like mine out of box. I have no reason to mess with mine.
