Greetings All
Just wanted to say that I just bought a <used> Twisted Fury from a fellow BR dude
named strikestriketapped.
I am so in love with my new Twisted Fury SOLID that I decided to get the Twisted Fury
in fact the Twisted Fury SOLID had helped me come out of my summer slump
Two Friday nights ago I shot a 701 series, I know nothing great but thats when it started and last Friday night I shot my highest sanctioned series as I shot a 764.
Whats weird was with my 764 series I used the Twisted Fury SOLID all night...trust me when I say, that was a switch
So anyway, I thought I would try the Twisted Fury. On a side note when my driller drilled my Twisted Fury SOLID he put the pin down under the bridge
{which I have never used before) so when I throw that ball I just play up the boards.
Btw, last Friday my 3rd game should have been a 300 but it was just a 290 as I drilled the pocket in the first and left a 10 pin and then picked it up and then went sheet.
I am not bragging as it seems everyone here bowls so darn good I am just so excited about my scores that past few weeks and my new bowling ball
Later All,
Big Jake

Nice job! It may seem like we're all good on here, but we're just bowlers. What probably happens is that we only talk about our good scores
.
Every ball is going to be good when used on the right condition, so determine which ball works best for you under which conditions, and don't look back.

the TFP is one of my all time favorites!smooth, powerfull and very easy to read a pattern with.I have one pin above grips on center with the M.B.3.5" from pap and the ball is never jumpy or over under.I think you will be very happy with it.BTW I picked up my TFP used also and the cover has been great as with all Brunswick covers.

The harder I try the harder they fall

Nice shooting. I am thinking of picking up a TF also.

I've got an arsenal of all hammer's basically and an exception of an AMF angle that I use exclusively. It's something about the TFS that just has my attention. I like solids and the TFS is SCREAMING my name. So I just ordered one! I hope it's worth all the anticipation I have for it. I'm looking for that 300 and if the TFS gets me there then sign up for the Big B Bandwagon.

Good shooting! I also shot my highest set Sunday night. A 762 with my Twisted Fury. I didn't really like this ball at first but after a few surface tweaks I love it! It's a perfect ball for THS conditions.

Hey Group
Well, I just got the used Twisted Fury so I would like to put in back to the OOB condition so could someone tell me what "Rough Buff Finish" is? Thanks

Rough Buff is sanded at 220 (I'd go higher speed w/ water) then apply the Rough Buff compound.
Very similar is a slightly worn 2000 abralon, or a new 4000 abralon pad using water.

I believe the Twisted was 400 plus Rough Buff.

"To bring your Twisted Fury back to its original factory finish, sand the surface to 400-grit then use Brunswick’s Factory Rough Buff Finish."
---from the Brunswick website
Slap is correct. For the Twisted they did go 400 then Rough Buff. For higher ball speeds you might try 220 then Rough Buff, though.
