Avalanche slide

Just punched one up 2 3/4 pin to pap large hole 2 1/4 down val and this ball is a monster. I had both the previous avalanches both were good but never great, I drilled this ball for shorter patterns to get through the heads and be smooth in the back. It is deffinatly smooth but its a monster on medium oil and it hits like a truck.

Since it's supposed to be a drier lanes ball, shouldn't that be very true?

I mean, the more it hates oil, the better it should perform on dry lanes?????

Something like Valentino's UFO (or better yet, exactly that) could soften up the backend, if it's too much snap for you. If you don't like it, a light hand sanding (600 grit green pad or similar) removes it. Then just repolish it.

Also, I'm not 100% positive, if Brunswick followed their normal polishing routinewith the Avalanches, but if they did (400 grit + polish), you could try 2000 grit Arbalon pad + polish. Again, if not satisfactory, restoring it is easy.
