Wow, the days of Octane were short, shame, i really do like at least the regular Octane on the Radical Inferno and what i've heard, it's the worst of all the Infernos and Octane balls.

Is it designed to be some kind of a creator for an all-Fury arsenal (not a spare of course), since all the Fury balls perform drastically differently (Hook potentials: 165, 135, 115)?

Iy may be just a temporary change, kind of like the N'Control coverstock from the Powerkoils or the like.

I was thinking the same thing about the Octane coverstock....that was very shortlived. I wonder if it will be trickled down to the BVP line at all. I liked that coverstock.

I'd say they'll start to make the Zone Asyms with the Octane and make a BVP with Activator?

It wouldn't really make sense that a newer same class coverstock is in a lower line than an older one. So, unless Brunswick isn't thinking the Octane was a flop (the original was for some people, but the Total, the Fury and the Fury Pearl were mostly liked), it isn't going to see BVP use until the 2010's if the life of the Activator cover is anything to predict on.
