avalanches
« on: March 25, 2008, 10:23:36 AM »
I just got the 2 Avalanches in today.  The pearl has a 5 1/2 inch pin with a top of something like 1.5.  What can I possibly do with this?  The solid isn't as bad but shouldn't the solid have come a little dull?  Mine came really shiny.  My PAP is 3 1/2. I am a lefty with a high rev rate.  Just wondering if the ones I received are duds?

You can do pretty much any layout with that ball, I'd go with a 4" pin to pap, higher in the grip (obviously) with a hole down the VAL. All Avalanches come out of the box shiny.

Thanks for the help.  The pics looked a little deceiving with the solid looking a bit dull.
