Twisted Fury / Twisted Fury Destruction
« on: October 23, 2008, 04:51:54 AM »
Looking at Brunswicks Oct-08 ball comparison chart, the TF + TFD are pretty close.  Does that mean the original TF is going to be discontinued soon? or is it going to stay in Brunswicks 2009 lineup? cheers

Is the destruction stronger than the smash zone overall ?

Trust me, neither the Destruction or Maxxx Zone respond to friction like any other Brunswick ball. They are both more angular, as well as continual.

With all due respect 302efi, I do most of my bowling/ball tests on PBA patterns. So the differences are more pronounced.

In addition, without trying to sound over confident, I think I know a thing or two about ball reaction. Learning, discussing and studying ball reaction with the likes of Rick Benoit, JustRico, Bill Orlikowski, Chuck Gardner, Mo Pinel, Mike Luongo, Brunsnick just to name a few, has been VERY educational.

I have been very fortunate in my bowling life to have the opportunity to talk with, listen to and work with all of these people mentioned above. Along with countless other's that I have learned from.

This ball is VERY special. Gets down the lane with ease with a very strong backend.

Come on people...This describes every new ball that comes out...lol

When are we going to relize that this ball will pretty much do what every other ball does on a THS ?

Depends on how you mean stronger. Stronger in response, yes. The Destruction has more potential to cover more boards, especially in the back end. The Smash Zone is stronger earlier and going to be smoother overall.

Stronger is perception.

Sorry should have asked in the back end of the lane, for me the Twisted Fury never worked it was pretty straight at Sunset Lanes(Renata's) in Henderson.

Smash Zone for me is pretty angular there, it is now reopened as Wild Fire lanes with bone dry 8 and outside now.

After having thrown mine twice in league at two different houses it's definitely not an over/under look for me. It reads the lane more predictably than the original with a strong move but not jumpy... at least for me.
