I'm really interested in this ball mainly due to it being a pearl with a moderately high RG.  Seems so many balls are low RG and this is a ball that should really rev up later and make a big move on the back.

This should do well as a replacement for the Vapor Zone.

I'm hoping the Twisted rolls similar to the Classic Zone.

I love my Classic Zone, if the Twisted rolls anywhere near as strong as the Classic rolls I will surely look at picking one up.

Nick, since you're here how do you think this ball would fit with a polished Fury (rough buff at 1200 grit) and a Vapor Zone sanded to 2000+ with high gloss?

I'm almost thinking that it might be better to not take the VZ so high since it looks like the TF is going to go longer than I thought...

Hard to say since I've only seen the video as reference. I'll know more once I see the ball reaction first hand.

I just drilled a Twisted Low Pin 4 3/4 pin to pap 60 degree. OOB finish it has a slower response to the dry than the Pearl Fury, naturally. The flare rings are pretty tight, so I knocked it down with a green scotch brite by hand. The back end is strong and just like Rico said, you can stay closer to the friction. When I moved left too soon I'd ping tens. I was able to stay in one place longer than usual.

I have a tournament tomorrow so maybe I'll have more feedback then. The ball is so clean I'm not sure if I'm going to put a high pin in the other one. I might stay with a low pin, shine the surface and put the MB at 50 instead of 60.

Where would this fit in terms of oil conditions for house shots?  Would it be between the Total Inferno and Black Widow?

Probably below both.
Its too clean in the front to be in the same ball park as those two balls.
Its all about the backend with this piece.

Couldn't use the Twisted today. Long sport shot, slow rolled the Pearl Fury. The Twisted would be below the Total and Black Widow for sure.

I put a weight hole in it and I shined it up a little. Will try again tomorrow. Long sport shot isn't the right pattern for the Twisted.

Im gonna be doing a Pro-AM and picking up a Pearl Fury. The proshop I goto will trade me a NIB Fury for just about any ball of my choise no matter how new it is. Im gonna get a Twisted Fury now. Love how it looks on the lanes and I like the reaction I see from it.
