I am wondering if anyone can compare these two for me. Specifically, I am looking for something that is one step above the original Twisted (assuming the same drilling) and have wondered if this might do it. I also have a Storm Virtual Gravity that seems to me to be two steps above a Twisted, so I would not want anything that would repeat that reaction in my bag.

The C-System is about equal in overall oil handling to the Twisted Fury Pearl, in my estimation, but the C-Sys 2.5 has significantly more backend movement and a sharper breakpoint.
I'd guess the C-SYS 3.5 or the Wild Card is a step up, but I'm not sure they're a step down from the Virtual Gravity. Except for the Wild Card, they're all Mass Bias balls and, as such, can have wild variances in drillings to produce very carying results.

I would definitely put the C-System above the Twisted Fury. The C-System should be cleaner up front and more angular in the backend, should probably also cover more boards if you were to try both at same surface...etc
You said you have a Gravity which feels 2 steps above the Twisted, im pretty sure most people would agree that the C-System is similar to the Virtual Energy which for most is great when the Gravity starts becoming too much ball
