I am back to my days of being a bowling ball Ho
once again as I was 3 years ago. But this time, I am going to have some limits to how many I buy and what lane conditions I really need one for. I pretty much sold all my balls I once had 3 years ago, but kept one of the balls that seem to fit my style and the lane conditions I see the most in basic league play. That is my Storm X Factor.
Having not used my X Factor for 3 years, and putting plenty of games on it during the time, it seemed to have lost what I use to have with back in 2003 and had a terrible start to the 2007-08 season. But instead of buying a new ball, I had it resurfaced and bingo, my old fav was back and again matching up well with the conditions I see. But it is time to look at a new ball that might be a tad earlier then my X Factor especially the first game of the block.
So I started to look at what's out there, and two balls seem to have stood out to me that I have my eye one. One is the Black Widow Solid, and the other is the Twisted Fury, with the Twisted really screaming out at me that it is like my X Factor but maybe a tad stronger and a tad earlier in mid lane roll....This sounds perfect to me IF this is really the case about the Twisted Fury.
The rating numbers on BTM for the X Factor and the Twisted seem to second my thoughts. Mian difference being less flair (X Factor 0.056 to the Twisted 0.036) and more backend with the Twisted.
Twisted X Factor
RG - 3.6 RG - 3.7
Diff/Flare - 5.5 Diff/Flare - 8.3
Torque - 6.5 Torque - 6.5
Length - 13 Length - 13
Back end - 15 Back end - 15
Total Hook - 48 Total Hook - 42
To those who have throw both, how would you compare the two? Does the Twisted seem to be an X Factor on Roger Roids?
Does it seem to be better suited for more conditions then the X Factor? Would one drill it like the way my X Factor is drilled?
Tell me your thoughts please.....Need to cure a fix.....a ball Ho'ing fix that is before the end of the season.
Oh yea, before I read the quote, "Keep buy those balls, one for sure will have a 300 in it" Your quote is so true and I was lucky enough to buy one of those balls! My X Factor!
Thanks for your thoughts and help...........TheGom
