What are the differences between these two and which do you prefer?

The Ulti Max can handle slightly more oil. I prefer the Nexus Pearl, because this year I've bowled a 2nd shift league and another house with wood on the second half of the lane.  The Nexus Pearl allows me to open up the angles better once it finds adequate friction.

I've thrown both this year and the Nexus Pearl is the stronger of the two. Both of these balls are drilled the same and have the same surface. The recovery on the backend never seems to quit with the Nexus Pearl no matter how far left I get.

I agree the Ulti can handle more oil.  I like to play straighter angles when I use the Ulti max playing a little more square.  If I use the Nexus pearl I tend to open up my angles more to get the best result with this ball.

Thanks guys! Just picked up an Ulti-Max from Buddies Pro Shop. They are having them on sale for $95, with good specs.
