Avalanche Pearl
« on: April 25, 2008, 07:18:12 AM »
Just drilled up my Avalanche Pearl today. Not so much a straighter ball as everyone has stated here. I expected a few more boards out of it than my Power Groove. Pin 4 1/2 from my PAP and CG 4 3/4 from PAP w/ the pin under my ring finger. The ball is very smooth and hits great! BUT for anyone looking for a ball to go fairly straight, go ahead and get a Power Groove. This may be different for others. I love the roll and I know I will be using my pearl and solid a lot.

take the pearl to 4000 polish and you will have the ball you want.

For sure, the cover likes surface adjustment too. I took mine to 2k abralon.

that have waterpockets in the coverstocks. They look like little white zits on the ball surface.
Those are most likely just air bubbles in the surface. =:^D
