I rolled this ball last week in warmup 4 shots it burned up but still managed to flip alittle in those 4 shots, well i got a thought what the F shine it and give it try. I put columbia 1200 polish right on top of the 800 finish, well this woke this ball right up. If i projected the ball through the breakpoint the ball would just flip over getting great length and come up flush shot after shot. If i got alittle slower it would over hook and like i deserved it would go through the beak and split. If i missed left the ball would hold line well and carry high flush, this cover and core combo is better than the Total Nv imo. My Fury is pin under ring at 4 1/4 pin to pap and cg at 3 inches to pap.
If you were waiting for the Mexicans to get it together, well it is time for a fiesta down south. Brunswick break out the tequila and get this plant pumping these balls out, they are that good. If you remember the hey day of Lane 1 and how good and versatile on oil the original carbide was then you have what this ball does on day's oils.
I had to knock my Total Nv down to 1000 and then polish it to get the ball to hook consistently, at 4k and polish it was a skid/flip nightmare.
I tried out the new Odyssey and G-Force tonight the odyssey flipped really hard off the dry, i went with the assymetrical flip drilling on it. Trust me it flips and keeps on going. Too much ball to be honest for the nice medium shot that had some carrydown that i was bowling on, the G-Force was a much rollier ball in motion less ball with same exact driling as the Odyssey. Both longer pins drilled pin over ring finger and right at 4 1/4 pin to pap, the mb on boths balls are one inch right of the thumb hole in the 4 inch mb to pap range without exact measuring.

How is the Odyssee on length and is it continuous? I love the Battle, but that cover stock burns up so fast on a fried shot, I'm hoping to see something with some length and heavy continuous roll through the back ends, and it looks like the Odyssee is the ball to do it!
-
who cares how many balls he buys, you would if you could AFFORD it. really get a life

Since that Fury is rolling so well for you, it doesn't look like you'll be needing that "Star Ball" You can send it my way. I'll send you a nice self addressed and stamped ball box to put it in.
Thanks in advance!

My Fury was free from a friend is that ok with you??? I buy almost all hi-po balls from most companies, i cannot afford every ball made either. I am sitting on ton literally on used balls i sell off and buy newer ones with. I am not a rich guy just like trying new things, i am a marginal bowler that likes using different things. There is no magic ball made out there, but there is good stuff made by every company.

of course i am kidding you dont need to explain squat to anyone, if anyone pays attention they will notice you change out balls and buying and selling is the name of the game to keep doing that

The odyssey is stronger for me imo only than the Battle is, the battle is rolly for me and has ok backend. I like the battle i have 2 of them drilled differently, the odyssey is just plain strong the whole lane and then it flips off the dry even harder. A way different shape than the oob Fury but about the same overall in ball strength.

Triggerman as you can see i did find a g-force locally by chance, i walked in and it was sitting there on the counter. I asked the price and it was equal to bringing in the blank, so i ended up getting it.
-
thats not a big deal mrbowlingnut, i sold my fair share of them lol,

mortonjl btw my business partner is named morton too from the Kentucky area, i never said the g-force was a bad ball in fact it was toss up between the force and the fury for reaction. The g-force also struck everytime in warmup i used it, we get 10 minutes of warmup it is like forever for me. I am able to throw all 4 strike balls i carry at least 3-4 shots apiece or more, nice to try them all and see what fits the shot.
I also tried my Shift again in warmup it was a dart so there was oil in the backend of the lane, i tried it again in game 3 ball went dead straight still. Last week it matched up perfectly and backended like there was no tomorrow, so far it has had 2 bad outings but it has potential so it stays for now.
-
we get ten minutes of warm up too, for me it is 5 minutes too much
one league only gives us 6 minutes which is about right
2 shots on each lane roughly and you go. mrbowlingnut, if you get time do a review of the fury and g force side by side, would be interested to hear what you have to say
