Fury Pearl Mini-review
« on: August 15, 2007, 09:17:08 AM »
Drilled up 3" pin, 2.7 tw Pearl Fury.  Our house is a wood house, 37 feet buffed to 40, pretty easy.  Drilled the ball 5 X 4 above the bridge, no weight hole.  I don't know much about weight holes and statics, but the ball came out with 1/4 oz. positive side and 1/2 oz. of finger.  On the lanes, oob the ball was to early and didn't make much of a move in the back at all, so i polished it over the 4000 finish with bean's sauce.  Ball was noticeably longer with a strong continous back end.  Reminded me of the Storm Agent and RXS300.  Easily length with smooth continuation off the dry.  Best look i had was standing on about 22 crossing 15 out to 6-7.  I have a fury with the same drill and surface, and the pearl is about 3 boards weaker with a little more angle.  Ball looks great, but i was hoping for a little more snap.
