I have never posted an opinion on a ball here because I beleive
that a good ball for one bowler is a piece of crap for another
due to the differences from bowler to bowler.  However the Urithane
Power Groove is a ball that I felt needed to be posted about.  This
is a great dry lane ball.  How dry you can use it on will depend on
just how much hand and ball speed you have but.........  I can tell
you this:

Just because this ball is sold as a low end ball ($40-50 on the internet)
does not mean it lacks performance on the right condition.  I just got
one last week and was pleasantly surprised that as long as
you get some fingers in the shot or the lane is dry enough the ball is consistant and smooth off the dry and hits very well.  I got this ball to try and help me out when the lanes are very very dry.  I was hoping it would
fill the gap between my Sonic X and Plastic and it does just that.
It comes sanded out of the box so it will need to be polished before
you use it for dry lanes but it is the best DRY lane ball I have ever had.
Though my scores with this ball mean nothing since you have no idea what
kind of shot I throw or what condition it was on they were 268,299,279,245
196,204,and 233.  I post them only to prove the ball can get the job done
on the right condition.  In my opinion that condition is DRY.
