What JMac is saying is that regardless of what layout you see on someone else's ball, you have to take in to consideration your own PAP. Billy O's pin placements in the video had his pin on his grip line below the fingers (5 3/4" from his axis) on one ball, and under the ring finger (5" from his axis).
With your axis measurements you listed, the pin under fingers on the grip center line would be a stonger more continous reaction for you. The pin under ring finger layout for you would/could cause over flaring, thus making the ball weaker downlane. Not always true, but with stronger coverstocks this can result. Safer to keep the pin 5" - 5 1/2" from axis and then just adjust the balls surface to fine tune it.
Remember, regardless of where you see someone else's pin placement, always use your own PAP to determine where the pin should be on your own ball.
