Hey guys just wondering since FURY has been out Do you think this ball is a great heavy oil ball? Especially for a long pattern condition?  Currently here's my arsenal:

ACTION ATTACK-STACK LEVERAGE
TNV-STACK LEVERAGE PIN ABOVE RING FINGER
ACTION PACK-PIN ABOVE FINGERS
BWP-ZERO ALL AROUND WITH PIN ABOVE MIDDLE FINGER, CG MIDDLE, MB RIGHT OF THUMB
YING YANG SPARE BALL

They come pretty strong from the factory and can handle plenty of oil. The difference between this one and say a heavy load particle is at the back end, where the Fury can cover more ground.  I like mine in oil.

A very close second is my Wizard, which loves oil, too.

notclay, thanks for replying.  I have an eye on this ball for sometime.  I have the action attack but i don't want to change the coverstock on it to give me that extra early hook when its oily.  Now do you think this is a great ball for long oil? Or should i consider THE RISING. i know its track ball and we're in BRUNSWICK. what do you think? Any suggestiong to whom out there would read this post.

I used mine on the PBA shark pattern with some success. That's 44 feet of pretty heavy oil...

Whenever you have a longer oil pattern you just need to move a little inside and play a tighter line so there aren't as many boards to cross late on the lane. It doesn't hurt to soften the speed a little, too.  Good luck. By the way, I have no idea about the Track ball.

On edit, I read that the Track ball comes at 4000 abralon, which may not be strong enough for a longer pattern, according to BTM.

The Fury is an amazing ball.  No ball is great on true heavy oil, but it'll be a fair amount better than anything else you'll find.  It'll give you a better look than anything else you'll find, plus the adjustments are very minor with it, it doesn't respond too violently to track burn, and can handle carrydown pretty easily.  Plus it's incredibly versatile.  It doesn't burn energy either, so you can throw it anywhere on the lane and you'll get a great backend look and good continuation.  I'd definitely suggest getting it.
