Question about the Original Inferno
« on: June 07, 2006, 07:47:59 AM »

I just had an Original Inferno drilled and after just a few games it seems to give me an over and under reaction.  Has anyone else had this problem?

I was wondering if going over the ball with a green scotch pad would even out the reaction?  Or, does this ball need several games to wear a track?

Any help would be appreciated.

Are you getting out of the ball clean?

If you are, then hit the ball with a grey scotch brite.

i got the best reaction out of my inferno by scuffing off the factory polish and using it smoothsanded 2,000 grit. this eliminated the over/under than can happen with highly polished reactive balls. it also gave me more traction if i pulled it into the oil and yet plenty of backend reaction on errant shots that got out to far into the dry.

I had the same issue, 1000 grit wet sanded did the trick for me too.
