vapor zone & oil
« on: November 03, 2006, 08:17:13 AM »
What ball would be a step up from the vapor zone. I'm looking for something more aggressive than the vapor. I have the smokin which for me is a step down if the lanes are hooking to much for the vapor, but I don't have anything to compliment the vapor if there is to much oil for it. I don't have a big hand so I tend to struggle if there is to much oil. I know the scorchin hooks a bunch, but I don't want something I can't control. I feel that I am an pretty accurate bowler, more down and in, But I just have problems with getting the backend reaction when there is a little to much oil or when the oil starts to carry down the lane.

Anyone got any suggestions, it doesn't have to be brunswick.

I would say the scorching Inferno is the way to go if you want big B, it rolls early so be prepared for it to burn up if there isn't any real source of oil.  The strike zone, drilled to roll, is a nice piece as well.   If I were to tell you what I myself would buy, sounds like we are similar in style, I would buy the Raw Hammer Pain, its purple, but it is NICE on the lanes, thats my choice.  Its similar in look to my Vapor (slightly dulled the cover on the Vapor) but it is a good bit stronger in oil.

Thanks for the replies. I actually was looking at the Raw Hammer Pain but was not sure if it would be similar to what I have. I used to throw Hammer before I switched to Brunswick. I have nothing against the Hammer products, but the newer brunswick balls seem to match up with my game better.

The Pain is sick, you would like it I am almost sure.  It really rolls like the Vapor on serious Roids.  The Brunswick line is rolly and controlly, the pain is that plus some.
