Vapor Zone vs. Red Zone
« on: September 09, 2006, 03:11:06 PM »
I have a good idea about how a Strike Zone and Red Zone compare, from all of the threads on that topic.

How does the Red Zone compare to the Vapor Zone, in general?  I am reading that the Red Zone goes long and is very angular.  That is exactly what I have experienced with my Vapor Zone.

Does the RZ go longer than the VZ?  How do the backends reactions compare?  Has anyone used them side by side?  Trying to decide if I want/need a RZ.

Thanks
Chuck

everyone says that ball is MONEY. I assume it is, because in video's it looks really smooth and very angular. I would love to have the ball as well.

VZ reads the mids earlier and is arcy in the back part of the lane, conversely the RZ is longer and really "flippy" downlane. Both being Zones they rev up fairly quick off the hand.

Anyone else have an opinion?  I find my VZ to be pretty angular.  Is the Red Zone really more angular?  It seems some of the replies, given so far, conflict.

On the VZ, I have a 4 1/2" pin to axis distance with a 65 degree layout.

Thanks
Chuck
