You don't need either. You need something below the SR300 like a Punisher.

a punisher is pretty big drop from an SR, but I think slight move adjustments, surface, and hand positions should fill that void. Cant go wrong with a Rampage either.

Fury is more ball than ultimate if you really need it and punisher would be a better weaker ball choice or even power groove reactive.

Yeah, I was going to say something like an Ambush or Rampage under the SR300. Maybe later get a Punisher, but going from a SR300 to a Punisher would be a huge change IMO.

The Rampage fits between your Ultimate and The One because it is a hybrid coverstock. The SR300 probably a little different than any of them.

I thought the Punisher was only good if you're seeing LOTS of dry boards, otherwise the Rampage is better. Good luck.

Okay, to answer the original choice, I also think anyone can throw and love the Vapor, too. The Fury looks like a monster but I haven't got mine yet.

The Rampage should fit under the SR300.

You're right, the Punisher isn't weak, it just doesn't read the lane as soon as the Rampage.
Guys with some revs can really make the Punisher skid/snap, which is what The One does. I was recommending the others because they seem to fit in between the Ultimate and The One.
