Considering the ball is going to be released on February 20th and the staffers don't even have the ball yet, there can't be a comparison made yet.  Once they get to use them, I'm sure they can make a comparison.  I will do a full review once I drill mine up in a couple of weeks.

Comparing the 2, your AI has a low rg core compared to the VM.  Yet the VM has a much higher Diff to turn the corner.  The cover is brand new but knowing that the Ulti max got down the lane and the VM is set up with rough buff and high gloss polish it going to scoot down the lane cleaner.  So difference wise the VM is going to be cleaner down lane and much more angular then your AI.  I would think depending on what type of condition your bowling on they would work hand in hand together.  Hope this helps

Once we all get them you will start to see the reports. I gotta' say that I am very intrigued by this Versa Max though.

Chuck Gardner had posted pics on Facebook of a Versa-Max drilled Rico for PBIII.

I hope it's not like the 4.5

I finally had a chance to throw the Versamax at the Mini Eliminator. Super clean through the front, even with 7+" of flare. The continuation was impressive, rarely did it lay off on these patterns.

Compared to an Absolute Inferno, it isn't as early rolling, definitely more response down lane. All black bowling balls look great revving up, it almost plays tricks on the eyes. I'm sure your Absolute has 100s or 1000s of games on it by now, so it might not be as responsive as it was out of the box.
