For the conditions I see the Danger Zone is a little stronger late, while my LT-48 was smooth city...

I agree that the Vintage Danger Zone will handle a little more oil, and will have a stronger midlane roll compared to the Vintage LT-48.

I see mine the opposite way with the DZ being very rolly, taking well to a little scuff and being most effective on fresher patterns.
My LT48's have all given me effortless length through the heads with a strong, yet rounded move off the backend.  A great ball to have in the bag once you need to chase left as the lanes get dry

Agree. The DZ is surprisingly "smooth" and very rolly.  The first "Vintage" ball that actually rolls like the original.  Very impressed with the DZ.

The LT48 is very clean but still relatively smooth downlane.  Great to chase left when the track blows up.

Smooth is NOT the word I think of for my Lt 48 pin up!  Pin up so much so that the pin buffer is 1.5

Of course I am a lefty on an extreme wet Dry!  The explosiveness of this pin up drilling in box condition (polished)is quite amazing.

I had another one that was duller and it was smoother by a considerable amount!

I have talked to a staffer and he informed me the LT 48 Vintage was very subject to pin up/pin down drillings, in that pin up made the ball jumpy and pin down seem to dramatically smooth reaction.(maybe too little quickly).  Same as the Gold Vintage Rhino.

I have seen the Danger Zone thrown in this same wet dry house on the right(much more blended out) Pin up and polished!  It looks big on the back and strong in the mids!
