Need help with brand new arsenal
« on: December 03, 2006, 01:55:33 PM »
I currently have an Track Xception that I have been using for a year now, it was about 2 years old before I got it.  I resurfaced it not too long ago and the reaction of the ball is seeming to die down now.  My other ball is the Track Thrash and that ball is something I do not have any use for anymore.  I want to know what new ball could perhaps be more aggressive than my Xception.  My current average is around 182 right now.

I'd like to be able to have a ball that will have a good backend because my cross alleyhook is weak.  I do not have the proper technique to throw it cross alley yet but I am getting coached this upcoming christmas break.

I was thinking about the total inferno also! I just need two new balls that will be enough to attack on one hand medium to oily lanes, and one ball for the dry lanes.

Go Absolute Inferno & Classic Zone Green Pin

Should be golden on med/heavy and light/med

you'll have 90% of the conditions covered with these 2 balls.

you can still find Green Pin's around at pro-shops that havent hacked the discontinued stuff.

Most of the Zone series now is for heavier stuff.

I guess you could Strike Zone Polished or Vapor Zone Box Finish with the Smokin Inferno as well, for production balls.

Where would the cheapest place be to order the Total Inferno?

LOL, just forget all of my deductive reasoning and go for the highest hook potential ball, dont worry you're typical, you'll see the light eventually.

Enjoy the total for the 1/2 game per set you can use it on THS.

Basically you're telling me that the chance that this ball would be successful on the house pattern is very low due to that the house patterns oil would not be able to truly make the full potential of the balland that the absolute inferno would be better. I'm just starting to learn the mechanics of the ball and I thought the total inferno would be the next best thing. I just thought that the Total inferno was an upgrade from the successful Absolute inferno

the absolute inferno is much more mellow that the total inferno.

see www.brunswickbowling.com for details, and a video comparing the two.

keep in mind, the volume of oil seen in the video is rarely seen on a house shot.
