DP3 - My bad - I should have stated "equal surface".
Looking at the spec sheet in the "retired section" of the Brunswick site, it shows a core-heavy number of 2.5. WOW. That puts it slightly lower than the Inferno! That's lower than I thought. No wonder that sucker starts revving up so easily. I can't throw an Inferno on the same condtions in my home center, due to its cover strength, but the Danger Zone loves it there.
Since the Nemesis comes in with a much higher RG figure, it would be too close to my Time Zone to warrant getting one. Thanks for the info.
So using Brunswick's charts, and the diff. number of 0.047 from Bowlingballreviews.com, that makes the Danger Zone's core specs pretty darned similar to the Inferno.
And THAT makes the Inferno the "Danger Zone" for the 21st Century's heavier oil volumes. Conversely, the Danger Zone would be the "Inferno" for centers too cheap to put out much oil. It all makes sense now...
