i have a warp zone that has been wet sanded down to 600 grit and still hooks very little. its drill for a strong early hook but i dont see that at all. i want to use this as my heavy oil ball. what would happened if i took it down to 200 or 220 grit?

I'd sweat the oil out of the ball with the Revivor, then resurface with the Haus. Leave it at 400 Grit, or Burgundy Scotch Brite. I'm thinking you might have a few games on your ball.

i tryed putting it in the dishwasher a little while back but didnt see much differents. that normally works. i'll mess with it alittle more and if it won't do what i want it to many that will be the excuse i need to buy a fury.

Are you sure you use it on enough oil? The WZ has PK18 coverstock with a medium particle load - it should be very durable. It needs good oil to work properly, and with a strong drill for early roll/arc it might simple be that it rolls out and depeletes its energy too early.
Furthermore, the WZ will arc, and that very early, so you might get the impression that it does not hook much since its back end is not booming. It has a killer hook rating on the Brunswick charts, but this hook is very even.
BTW, too much surface (IMO anything under 400 grit) might even reduce the contact area of the ball surface and decrease the grip level of the ball.

it seems this ball does not like to play the whole lane. it likes to be played straighter down the lane. i bought this ball used and it only had 6 games on it. it does have the strong drill pattern but has a huge and deep weight hole. i think the weight hole is to give it more flare since it is near the PAP. i wanted what it would do if i plugged that weight hole. any thoughts?

No particle ball should be thrown from left to right in my opinion. The only Brunswick ball I've seen that can do so effectively is the Ambush. The strength is shown with predictable roll from straighter angles.

I agree with Nick.
Particle balls are best when they make one move. Not two. Also, NICK.
Do you cut the ball at all before you revive it?
Try your first cut on the Haus and then revive it. It bleeds better because the pores of the ball are opened. Then let it cool a little and use the pads in succession as usual. beans
