Week 2: Junior Gold Shot, Absolute Inferno
« on: June 13, 2007, 03:27:29 AM »
The money ball I shot my 300 this past week performed beautifully on the JOG pattern that was layed outs week.
The pattern was very tight, and a lot of other bowlers struggled. Playing the outside was a no-no due to the fact that if you played way out, no ball could grab and all washed out. If you played in anywhere from 1st arrow(from right) up to the 3rd arrow, the ball crossed over way early. The sweet spot was a little 6 to 9 board area in between arrows 3 and 5. If it went anywhere outside there, it grabbed the dry and went through the face or crossed over.
Out of the 25 bowlers(10 or so who averaged 200+ on last weeks chameleon) only 2 people broke 600. I shot 178+246+199=623 and another buddy of mine shot 631( he also had a 268 game in that set). I used my AI all 3 games.
So as you can see scores were very inconsistant. It was a tougher week than last week, thats for sure.
Im not sure what next weeks shot will be.

Thanks for reading,

Good question.
I am pretty sure it was the "medium" pattern out of the short, medium and long patterns. I want to say 40ft, but im not 100% sure.
