Welcome to my incinerator
« on: December 18, 2006, 10:51:01 PM »
I finally got a ball line up to perfection. It will be sad to see the end of the Inferno's but the flame will live on 12 frames at a time. Well up til last week I had a big gapping hole in my line up and then I finally got my Hands on the Total Inferno. I have only 10 games on it but it is the ball I have needed.

My Line up is now
Heavy Oil- Ultimate Inferno
Heavy-Med oil- Total Inferno
Med-Light oil- Radical Inferno
Light oil- Smokin Inferno
Bone Dry- PG Dry/r and Viz-a-ball  Carry both for spares also Dry/r awsome spare ball on Carry Down

So I send Big B a huge thank you for putting the flame in my hand to help torch the competition.

I dont fully agree with the Ultimate Inferno in the heavy oil spot. Everyone ive used seemed to be great on a med. house shot but when in true oil, just skated to the 6pin. A Scorchin Inferno IMO would be a better ball in the heavy oil spot.

Wow ,the ultimate is the best heavy oil ball I,ve thrown. My scorchin is a step below it but it has a a higher pin /further from the pap layout and some polish.

I will most likely pick up the PBA Inferno this year. Which I have been lead to believe is the Scorchin Inferno remade. The Ultimate is the green/yellow remake which I knocked the polish off and did 500 grit rough buff. Even in the Tournaments I have bowled in I am yet to find enough oil for this ball to not roll out. And with the Total Inferno now in the bag I no longer even carry the UI into the bowling center with me.

For heavy oil? If you did some serious surface alternations, maybe. The ball is not designed for heavy oil..

New computer. New office. New ID.
Yes, it be I, the Inverted 1.

The total is right where it should be IMO, the only ball I dont agree with is the UI. Just because everyone ive used didnt like the oil, 3 different balls 3 different layouts. Pin over rin/cg in palm. Pin under ring/cg kicked right. Pin under and right of ring/cg stacked. The last drilling gave me the best oil reaction, my scorchin in the same layout out hooks it by at least 5 boards!

I cant comment on the Total Inferno just yet, ive rolled it a few times but have yet to use it for a full night, my vapor zone or rampage has been the better ball to use.

This is just me and my arsenal from dry to heavy:

Rampage at 2000 grit high polish (light)
Rampage at 1000 grit matt finish (med)
Vapor Zone at 220 grit rough buff (OOB) (med-heavy)
Scorchin Inferno 600 grit with a coat of rough buff so it dont burn up instantly(heavy oil)
