What am i missing
« on: February 13, 2010, 03:40:04 PM »
I have a few balls now that i really like. but i still think im missing something. im mostly a down and in player. i rarely see inside 3rd arrow speed 15-16mph
250 revs little rotation and tilt. I really tend to struggle when the fronts starts to dry out and my virtual starts checking up early and when i move in start leaving more 10 pins. But when i switch my c-system just wont quite make the corner.

this is what i have.

Virtual gravity- 50-4-50 1000 abralon
????????????????????maybe (505A,c-system3.5)
C system 2.5- 60-5-30
Avalanche solid- 55-5-70
avalanche slide- 65-5 1/4-35

I'm just a league bowler. i bowl 3 nights a week. i do all the local tournaments. also did a few pba experiance leagues/sport shot leagues. So whatever u guys suggest. i really would like to stay in Storm,Brunswick or Track.

I would have to second the HyRoad suggestion. I think that would be a very nice fit in the position your looking for...and I'm not even a big storm fan. My brother just purchased one and I've had a chance to throw it enough to comment on it. We have almost exact specs. It's a wonderful ball and it allows me to open up the lane a bit more than my other balls when the conditions allow.

If you haven't touched the cover of the c-system since you got it, that cover is very sensitive to changes.  If you take it to 1000 and shine it, you'll see a completely different ball.  Play with the surface first..a lot cheaper than buying a new ball.
