I didn't know how to put this into a different type of thread without sounding critical but I really am hoping for more core options for this season.  Brunswick is only rotating 5 cores in their entire lineup.  While most of the stuff is great(I don't seem to get along with Activator+ for some reason, but that's just little ole' me and I'm no one important), most of the stuff in each line gives the same type of "look" just in different volumes of oil.  The Powergrooves all want to go like a dart for 40 feet then checkmark at the end of the patterns.  The BVPs all give a heavy midlane with a backend tourquing motion late downlane.  And the Inferno series....well that's just the typical activator reaction in all of its variant forms.  The Zone series, being assymetrical does offer a wider range of options with breakpoint shape, but it's limited to the use of activator and activator + which works like a pot of gold for a ton of players on patterns all across the boards.  I believe the activator shells work best on patterns that have no real "buff out" area for the way it transitions in motion down the lane, but on blended crowns and house shots with alot of buff downlane it's just a bit too strong.

What I'd like to see is more "shape" options out of the midpriced and lower series.  The high end stuff already has a strangle hold on the market so if it ain't broke, don't fix it.  But I would like to see something else than just the inverted med-r.g. bell cores on the varying PK18 shells.  I know Brunswick doesn't really believe core shape matters as long as they're trying to achieve certain spec numbers, but maybe a reintroduction of the fuze cores in the midpriced line or (shocker!) something all new together that can give varying options between low & high R.G.s in the midpriced line on some friendly tweakable covers.

Maybe I'm just looking for "niche" type balls and I'm being a bit picky, but that's my dream.  I've thrown a TON of the brunswick stuff since the Fuze line but since last summer I've found myself venturing out to other brands and I've been finding some great hidden gems that are matching up very very well to the "northeast coast" conditions I'm seeing to the point that the "B" stuff that has been released in the past year didn't really intrigue me.  

I know everyone likes a little consumer feedback so being pro shop affiliated and traveling alot with the collegiate team I coach I just thought I'd share some things from my perspective and others that I am coming across.
